program is not about the race to get ahead, it’s the race to become one’s
best.
It’s about developing a personal best.
The
realities of life are there often are only a few designated spots. Our children
have been placed in an incredible competition to strive for these spots by
getting the best grades to get into the best schools. This intense drive to get
ahead in extreme cases can lead to burn out, dropping out, cheating or
debilitating stress.
The
program develops strategies that build confidence and skills in each student’s
abilities to perform academically.
Early preparation is an important factor in reducing stress and anxiety
to empower students to achieve their educational goals. The
key components are:
Vocabulary Building, Critical thinking, Mnemonic Devices (memory aids
that enable students to retain information) A
strong working vocabulary can change a student’s life opportunities.
There is a direct correlation between success in college and having a
strong working vocabulary.
